What we collect
- What you type: first name, email, the role you choose, and your mobile number.
- Consent records: whether you agreed to the verification text and, separately, to marketing texts, with the time and the exact wording you saw.
- Waitlist data: your position, your referral code, and who referred you, if anyone.
- Campaign data: the utm tags in the link you arrived from, and the kind of device you used (for example "mobile" or "desktop").
- A one-way hash of your IP address, used for abuse and rate limiting. We do not store the IP address itself.
- Daily page and funnel counts grouped by campaign. These counts contain no personal information.
How we use it
- To send you the guide and create and secure your account, including a one-time code by text message.
- To run the waitlist and credit referrals.
- To send a short series of emails about the guide and Cividian. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- To send marketing texts, only if you checked the separate, optional box. Reply STOP to end them.
- To measure which campaigns work.
Advertising pixels and cookies
We set two cookies that the site needs: jc_session keeps you signed in after you verify (30 days) and jc_ref remembers the referral link you arrived from (30 days). Your cookie choice is stored in your own browser.
If you choose "Accept" in the cookie notice, we load advertising and analytics tags from the platforms we advertise on (which may include Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, X, TikTok and Google Analytics). Those companies set their own cookies and process data under their own policies. If you decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load them.
Who we share it with
Service providers that run the site for us: Twilio (text message verification), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (hosting) and our database host. They process data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell or rent your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep account and waitlist data while your account exists. Ask us to delete it at any time. Aggregate daily counts are kept for up to 400 days.
Your choices
Unsubscribe from email with the link in any email. Stop texts by replying STOP. To see, correct or delete your data, email hello@joincividian.com.
Children
This site is for adults working in real estate and is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you by email if the change is material.
